A Media Cell has been formed in Madurai City in the new City Police Office at Room No.60. Press and Media reporters may collect day today information regarding election and L&O, Crime related Police matters Madurai City between 11:00hrs to 12:30hrs in the morning and 17:30hrs to 19:00hrs in the evening. Media Cell has been provided with a landline phone 0452-2346302 and a dedicated WhatsApp Media group “PRESS 2016” has also been created to pass on group information for speedy communication on various relevant issues. All concern are requested to avail above facilities. Mrs. B.Krishnaveni, Sub-Inspector of Police is placed in-charge of Media Cell.

I have ordered for round the clock vehicle check through out city for this purpose. Yesterday one person with weapon was arrested during vehicle check.
